SP5 Monrad Eiler Jensen (deceased) poses with an H model M/R head and blade on a static stand at Camp Enari about Aug '69. If you flew in Lift or Guns your ship was maintained by " Monty's Prop and Rotor Shop".
Every H model or Cobra blade changed needed "tracking" and "balancing" and Monty was the Master.

SP 5 Al Meeks looks at the camera during test flight west of Camp Enari. The flight began poorly as the RPM began to bleed off during the tansition over the perimeter. The H Model eas carrying two 55 gallon drums full of trash ammo policed off the flight line for an inspection. Which was to be disposed of in a nearby lake. If we were still in Phan Thiet a call to the Blue's EOD with some C-4 would have taken care of the ammo. Two passes were required over the lake as some locals were fishing in it. I've often wondered what they were thinking about while the Huey flew over them throwing out two 55 gallon drums. Note the wax pencils in my pocket, tracking blades was an every day event.                              Photo's and text Al Meeks
